Our Company is committed to providing working conditions that comply with all occupational health and safety laws and regulations of the jurisdictions in which we operate. Our employees are on pay roll and automatically covered by the Peruvian health and care system. Additionally, as exploration is considered as a risky work, our employees are also covered by a complementary insurance "Seguro Complementario de Trabajo de Riesgo" providing access to the best clinics and hospitals in Peru.

Every employee and consultant working for Caracara receives special training and judicious advises from local specialists how to behave in the field in case of accident, bad weather and dangerous situations. Before going in the field at high altitude, the Company requests from his employees a medical certificate that should demonstrates clearly the physical capacity of the employee to operate at altitudes reaching up to 5000 m above sea level.

Our team are equipped with internet and radio satellite and they should report on daily basis to our base operation in Juliaca, Lima or Canada. Any accident or illness has to be treated and declared immediately to avoid aggravation of the situation and if necessary the injured employee has to be evacuate to the nearest hospital.
